My school can’t afford vending machines and the snacks and drinks there suck, so we want to get a vending machine donated. We aren’t allowed to get soda-pop, so i was wondering what other kinds are available and if they can be donated. Any kind is absolutely fine just not soda-pop ones
Outdoor, coin operated soda vending machines keep your drinks frosty cold all summer long but what happens in the winter? Why doesn’t the soda freeze?
I was working outside at a marina trying to save a 38′ yacht that was sinking due to a frozen muffler when this question occured to me. The wind chill factor was well below zero but the cokes were a steamy 40 degrees. A reverse cycle compressor was my first guess but that would have only raised the temp 10 or 15 degrees above ambient according to a hvac guy that I talked to. The sodas would have still frozen.
I remember when 1 liter bottles of coke were 75 cents in vending machines.
Makes you think why have vending machines when you can get a better bargain at a convenience store?
I’m just curious why soda machines, which have been around for a while, are broken so often. I’d think that the system would be better by now and less likely to go out of order.
I’m in my schools newspaper staff and this is my story. Recently vending machines have stoped selling Cokes. All we have is Coke Zero and some Fuzz, Fusion and Life Water. I asked my principle and he said it was a new state law or something.
If you have any info plz reply
plz dont list obvious facts like sugar intake because in need a more detailed explianation or links because its for a school newspaper
Should there be vending machines in elementary schools with only healthy drinks and snacks? Should the students be allowed to buy and consume these products during the school day?
